This kid is great. Great musical phrasing. Lots of power. Based on this video, he doesn't have quite the chops or variety TRJ had, but he's got a great groove. JMHO.

Really? I didnt like it at all. (unless you were just kidding.) I had to stop watching in the middle cuz frankly it was boring for me....

Some of the other guys on the gospel chops thing are crazy though. Thomas Pridgen is like the funniest guy ever. I was crackin up the whole time! hahaha.....

But yeah either way, I do admit I would love his chops.

No competition for TRJ at 12, I'm afraid. Tony had finesse and style at that age. I realise it's churlish to criticise a 13-year-old who's already ten times better than I will ever be, but he just had no style, no dynamics, no grace. Drum set down flight of stairs time again.

Got some chops....alote of the same chops...and not so musical either......

The kid sounds great!

The tuning/sound of the kit, allows him to freely execute those licks. Talent plus a user friendly kit.
